Dr. Anne Pendo partners with physicians and healthcare leaders who are navigating the pressures and pace of healthcare transformation, guiding them to grow their capacity for focus, resilience, and well-being. With more than 30 years as a practicing physician and a decade as a healthcare executive, she brings lived experience to every coaching conversation—meeting leaders at the intersection of their personal and professional lives, where growth becomes possible.
Anne’s coaching approach blends practical leadership tools with deep self-awareness work. She creates space for leaders to examine long-standing patterns, clarify what matters most, and cultivate the emotional intelligence required to lead with steadiness and intention in high-pressure environments. Her clients learn to shift from reactive leadership to grounded presence, strengthening their ability to build trust, inspire teams, and move through complexity with clarity.
She is especially skilled in supporting physicians who are expanding their leadership influence by stepping into new roles, navigating system change, or seeking a more sustainable way of leading and living. Known for her calm presence and ability to foster psychological safety, Anne invites honest reflection and courageous conversation, helping leaders reconnect with purpose and rediscover a sense of joy in their work.
Throughout her career, Anne has championed innovative approaches to leadership development, physician and APP well-being, and culture transformation. She earned her Executive Coach certification from the International Coaching Federation and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Southern California, completing her training in Internal Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. For more than three decades, she practiced Internal Medicine and Geriatrics while serving in multiple leadership roles at Intermountain Health.
Anne lives in Salt Lake City with her husband and their two therapy dogs, Olive and Ollie, who bring joy to healthcare teams across the community. She loves traveling to spend time with her children and grandchildren, who continue to inspire her commitment to a life of meaning, connection, and wholehearted leadership.
